I love Kyoto, I miss it. It has a more small town-ish feel to it, compared to a huge modern city like Tokyo. Most of the buildings are old-ish, small, with a certain charm to them. It's the place that I would love to live in. The air is fresher, the weather cooler, and the streets are safer too!
There are A LOT of surface railroads in Kyoto!
